When I first entered that gate leading to Naredeth Academy, I never thought that I would end up bonding with a Wyvern or being recruited to leave Naredeth on a mission to save an endangered Wyvern species, or that I would go with my best friends, Corwin and Sylvan.

But to be fair I didn’t think I would be studying for that matter.

Anyways, I am telling you this story to say that you don’t always expect the unexpected. But when it comes, and it will, especially when you’re at a magical academy in a forest in the middle of “nowhere,” you embrace it.

Then you take it by horns and learn to survive. Literally, for my case.

Or maybe that last part is just me.

I guess you’ll find out soon, huh?

But, before you continue reading, I need to warn you.

Most people would tell you that if you walk into school on the first day and someone tosses you a shield instead of a pencil, and you have to fight an angry Wyvern instead of your algebra instructor, you should turn around and leave never to look back or question the events. They would say that is for your own good and for safety.

Honestly, I myself contemplated doing that.

But then I realized, what’s life without a little adventure?

When will I ever get this chance again?
