For OUAA's very first contest the theme is Enchanted Forests! 

Please do NOT post your entry online at OUAA. You can submit your entry to onceuponanauthor@yahoo.com! 

The first-place winner receives: a special badge, being featured on the featured page for a month, a shoutout post on our prompt and contests section under All Posts.

Second place receives: a special badge, a shoutout post, being featured on our featured page for 2 weeks.

Third place receives: a special badge, a shoutout post.

 

Rules: 

• Ages 13–19 only

• Original work only

• Members only (If you have signed in, you're an official member!!)

• Maximum word count= 1,500 words

• One entry per member

• Submission deadline= August 10, 2026, at 11:59 AM (We cannot accept any submissions past that time.)

• Please ensure that you include your pen name and say "Enchanted Forest Contest Entry" to make sure it is considered and correctly understood what you are sending.

What happens after you submit: All entries will be evaluated impartially on creativity and quality buy the founder Nova Novell soon after submission and posted once the decision is made. This contest is hosted to provoke creativity, give individual creators a chance to shine. It is strongly encouraged that you post your work on OUAA after the decision has been released, that you try again for the next contests, and that you are kind and comment on other participants work.
